It’s safe to say the world is in chaos right now.
Mother nature has thrust a lot of it on us.
But we, as a species, compound the crisis.

None of us know what will happen next.
It’s frightening, and everyone’s terrified.
Everyone! there isn’t a person not affected by “this”.

Yet as Sun Tzu said long ago:
“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.”

It’s hard to appreciate what that opportunity is right now.

For some it will surround their vocation.
For others it will provide an internal opportunity.
As a society, it could change the dynamics of how we live.

There is no doubt about it… chaos is among us.
It’s a hard, dark time; a scary one.

It’s a period that hit everyone,
some got hit harder than others.

But we all got hit in some way.
Now and in the future…

Yet what lies ahead is unknown.
Some of it will be bad, there is no question.
Yet some of it will bring opportunity.

We have to cling to that.
Be aware of the issues at hand, for sure.
There’s no virtue in burying your head in the sand.

Yet if all you do is focus on the doom, you’ll become part of it.

Observe what’s around you.
Seek lessons wherever you can.
Be grateful for what you have.
Be helpful and generous where possible.

That in itself is an opportunity.
